One of my top fitness tips is to go back to what used to work. At some point, I am sure you had a phase where you were getting some amazing results. If you are not getting those results now or you feel stuck, ask yourself what were you doing then that you aren't now?
It could be:
Think about a few things you need to put back in place to achieve the results you want. For me, one of the most important parts is my nutrition. If I have these items ready, I know I'll do well.
It could be:
- a workout partner that kept you consistent and now his/her schedule conflicts.
- or you did the 24 Day Challenge and went back to your old ways on day 25
- you prepared your food a week in advance, now your just grabbing whatever is available
- now you are mentally and emotionally in a different place than you were then

- A bag of dark green lettuce, which I use as an easy go-to side that takes no prep time.( I drizzle a small amount of dressing or honey mustard.)
- Cooked turkey, beef, and/or chicken (I prep this on Sundays and Wednesdays usually.) With lettuce and cooked meat ready, at the very least I can have a vegetable and protein at lunch and dinner. I use AdvoCare's Pro 20 for extra protein to stack on muscle.
- A bag of almonds in my car or AdvoCare protein bars/shakes in case I'm on the go. This takes out the guesswork for me and always gives me a go-to option.
If I don't consistently prepare these foods in advance, my nutrition suffers and in just two short weeks, I'll start to notice a difference in my waistline or abs starts to feel bloated. Not fair to my lovely wife Weslynne Loper.
So what are the things you need to put in place? Is it:
I don't know, but if you remember what gave you great results before, why aren't you using those same methods? And I don't want to hear any excuses! Get a plan and get going!
